Yay! Great Upgrade iEarned That :)

Finally! I have been procrastinating on leaving a review because this Ap had so much potential but fell short in too many areas for me to give it more than 2 stars. The MAJOR problem was that my sneaky little students would sneak in an extra puzzle piece they had not earned and I couldn't get rid of it without erasing the whole thing. Finally I can do that. The Ap still needs quite a few upgrades so I can't quite give it a 4 or 5 star rating (and I REALY want to, so please fix these!)
1) You can not duplicate a reward so once it is finished you have to go through the whole process of adding a picture, picking the number of pieces, adding the titles, etc. When you are working with a child with autism who has difficulty waiting and is only on a reinforcement schedule of 3 or 4 puzzle pieces this is a major draw back.
2) I would LOVE to be able to pick the speed of the puzzle piece placement. For a lot of students I am working of speed and fluency and can' t use iEarned that because it is soooo slow (13 seconds for each puzzle piece :(
3) You can not easily erase a student from your list
NOTE: I have to say that even though I got this Ap originally to use with my students w/ autism (ages 3 to 8) I have gotten by far the most bang for my 2 bucks with my ADHD 14 year old niece! We were playing around with it when I first purchased the Ap and she loved it (she has always been a bit jealous of all the fun things I do with my students.) It is now by far the most effective token economy ever used with her! I am kind of embarrassed to admit that I kind of have my own personal servant now ;) She is a bit pricier to reinforce than the more typical Thomas toys and popcorn (e.g dinner and a movie, crab feast, etc) but she will clean my entire house from top to bottom including scooping the litter box all to get her puzzle pieces.... And this is a typical ADHD teen who wants to do nothing but play video games and Skype with her friends. Believe it or not the Ap has actually allowed us to grow much closer in the past several months. So for long term goals with older/advanced children I give the AP 5+ stars but not too many people will be using it for this purpose.

I am an adult that is very visually driven, I NEED to see things happening or it's very difficult to stay motivated. It may seem silly, but I love the interactiveness of this app and the puzzle basis by which to earn your reward. I use this app to reach my goals and even to remind myself to take some time and treat myself...because I've earned it. I do a great many things and take care of a lot of high stress situations and it's so easy to forget about one's self. I use it to remind me to reward myself when I: Lose "x" pounds, pay off my car loan, clean the house spotless (I don't just mean clean for sanitary reasons, I mean a thorough, de clutter kind of clean). I even use it to remind myself to take time for myself (at a local spa, if you get 10 massages, you get one free) so every time I get a massage, I put in a puzzle piece to "earn" that free massage, why let a free massage and a great way to relax go to waste :)
I do have two requests. Is it possible to a. Password protect this app?
b. Make an adult profile option, your age options goes well into adulthood.
Thanks again for creating this. It's helped me greatly, a full grown adult.
Great idea but crashes too often. Not worth frustration
Agree with other reviewers: keeps crashing esp when trying to take pic of new reward. Not worth frustration esp when u have an ASD kid escaping. Fix it or else not worth it.
Also agree with other reviewers: pls make adjustable how long it takes for a puzzle piece to fly in. If u can adjust how many pieces, then u should be able ton adjust time.
Developer, lots of money to be made once u perfect this app. Educators, parents (esp. Special Ed) are waiting for a reliable and robust reinf app.
